What Goldie is, what Goldie is not, and how to use what Goldie gives you.

Effective date: August 22, 2026Version: 2026-08-22-founder-review-draft
Draft for founder and attorney review. This document is a pre-launch draft prepared for the Goldie beta. It has not been reviewed or approved by licensed counsel and should not be treated as final legal text or as legal advice.

1. What Goldie provides

Goldie provides educational information, planning tools, scenario analysis, and decision support. Goldie is designed to help you understand your own financial situation, see how the parts of it relate to one another, compare options, and identify which decisions are likely to matter most to you.

The output Goldie produces — including your Goldie Plan, its recommendations, its rankings, its estimated impact figures, and any follow-up conversation — is educational and informational in nature. It is intended to help you think more clearly and ask better questions, including of the licensed professionals you work with.

2. What Goldie is not

Goldie is not, and does not hold itself out as, any of the following:

  • a registered investment adviser or investment advisory firm
  • a broker-dealer or a securities firm of any kind
  • a certified public accountant or accounting firm
  • a tax preparer or tax advisor
  • an attorney or law firm
  • an insurance agent, broker, or producer
  • a bank, lender, or credit counselling organisation
  • a fiduciary to you in any capacity

No communication from Goldie creates an advisory, fiduciary, accounting, legal, or other professional relationship between you and Goldie, and no such relationship should be inferred from your use of the service.

3. Not individualized advice

Nothing Goldie provides is individualized investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing Goldie provides should be treated as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any specific security or investment product, to enter into any specific transaction, or to adopt any specific tax or legal position.

Although Goldie uses the information you provide to produce output tailored to your circumstances, that tailoring is not the same as professional advice. Goldie does not know everything about your situation, cannot verify what you tell it, and does not assess the suitability of any investment or product for you within the meaning of applicable securities regulation.

4. Consult appropriately licensed professionals

You should consult appropriately licensed professionals before acting on anything you read in Goldie, and particularly before making decisions that involve investments, taxes, retirement accounts, insurance, business entity structure, estate planning, or legal obligations.

Where Goldie identifies a decision that would ordinarily call for a licensed professional, it will generally say so — but the absence of such a note is not an indication that professional advice is unnecessary. That judgment remains yours.

5. AI-generated output may contain errors

Goldie uses artificial intelligence to analyse the information you supply and to generate its plans, explanations, and answers. AI systems can and do produce output that is incomplete, out of date, internally inconsistent, or simply incorrect, and they can state incorrect things in a confident and plausible-sounding way.

You should independently verify any important information before relying on it. This includes — but is not limited to — figures, calculations, estimated impacts, contribution and account limits, tax treatment, deadlines, eligibility rules, and any statement about what the law or a regulation requires. Do not treat a Goldie output as verified simply because it is specific or numeric.

6. Estimates, projections, and no guarantee of results

Any figure Goldie describes as an estimate, projection, impact, or scenario is an illustration based on assumptions and on the information you provided. It is not a promise, a guarantee, or a prediction of your actual results.

Financial outcomes depend on many factors outside Goldie's knowledge and control, including market conditions, changes in law, changes in your circumstances, and the accuracy and completeness of what you tell Goldie. Past performance of any strategy or asset is not indicative of future results.

7. Your information drives your output

Goldie's output is only as good as the information it is given. If the information you provide is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, the resulting plan may be wrong in ways that are not obvious. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for keeping it current if you intend to continue relying on your plan.

8. Your decisions remain yours

You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions and for the consequences of those decisions. By using Goldie you acknowledge that you are using an educational and decision-support tool, that you retain full responsibility for evaluating what to do, and that you will seek licensed professional advice where it is appropriate to do so.
